Please log into Cascade.

  1. Go to “My Record”.

  1. Choose “Absence” from a drop down menu.

  1. Click on “Request a New Record”.

  1. Choose applicable Leave Category, Leave Type, Start Data and End Date. If the leave doesn’t have the End Date yet, please keep “Open Ended” box ticked. Please see the example below.

  1. Once you enter the data, please click on “Submit Request”.

  1. Enter a comment if applicable. Click “Continue”.

  1. Please choose duration. The default option is “All Day” but change if applicable.

  1. Click “Save”

  1. Once submitted, the request will go to your Line Manager for approval. S/he will receive an automatic notification from the system. Once approved, the absence will tracked/show on you record.

IMPORTANT! In case of sick leave some countries require a medical certification to record the absence as justified. Please follow your local law. In case medical certification is needed please send it to ask@xml-int.com.
